Porno Cop est un groupe hommage à l'immense groupe moldave fictif Porno Pop, fer de lance incontesté de la scène indie dans toute l'Europe de l'est entre la fin des années 90 et le début des années 2000.
Porno Cop reprend des compositions originales du groupe mais n'hésite pas à remanier, resserrer ou développer des sonorités et des thèmes travaillés à l'origine par les artistes moldaves.
